We get a rare Sunday boxing title fight, and even more rare is that it will be on regular broadcast television. David Morrell will put his 4-0 record and WBA World super middleweight championship on the line when he faces Mario Cazares in the main event of the Premier Boxing Champions card on FOX.

The undercard starts at 6 p.m. ET and the main card starts at 8 p.m. with the main event finishing by 10 p.m. Expect main event ring walks by 9:30 p.m. If you can’t watch on TV, you have the option to stream the fight on or through the Bally Sports app. If you don’t have cable, you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream Morrell vs. Cazares.

Morrell is a heavy favorite installed by DraftKings Sportsbook at -2500 to win while Cazares is a +825 underdog. The disparity is not surprising. Cazares is 12-0, but the only reason he’s in this spot is because of an upset of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. last September. Cazares won via sixth round technical decision and he and his team are striking while the iron is hot with this title fight.

I’ll never fully understand sanctioning bodies. Seeing a champion with a mere 4-0 record is a bit odd. Morrell claimed the WBA’s interim super middleweight title and then was promoted to “World” super middleweight champ while Canelo Alvarez is listed as “Super” super middleweight champion. Morrell is talented after over 100 amateur fights in Cuba, so he’ll be one to watch moving forward.
